Fractions and Decimals

This is my maths work for term 2, week 3. We did this to understand how to convert fractions to decimals. I enjoyed doing this because you got to watch a video.

  1. Great work Harry. How did you find this activity? I wonder if you could do a harder problem? Can you convert 34/25 into a decimal?

    1. I found it a bit confusing but mum helped me. 1.36 is the answer.

  2. Hi Harry, nice job on your maths. Did the video make it easier to understand or did you already have an idea on what to do? How do you think this sort of maths could be used in our daily lives? Sharron

  3. The video helped me visualise the concept of it. We could use it when dividing how much chocolate we eat in the family.
