Writing plan - Paroa beach

Writing Organiser- Explanation Report Introduction: General Statement about the topic

The beach is an important part of our community. I think the beach is really important because you can do many things there like: Fish, walk your dog, Play in the waves, explore the dunes and tussock and finally, hunt for greenstone. I like to go to the beach so Jessie can play. The thing I dislike the most about is the bluebottle jellyfish I find in between the stones. The beach is easily accessed off the bike track that runs along the coast.

Description: - Series of explanatory statements
The beach’s terrain is very rocky by the shore.
It has very good driftwood to build huts in.
I don't like that it usually has lots of seafoam.
When it is low tide it can be sandy.
It is fun because we can go down to it because it is right beside the school.
I like it when the beach is sandy because you can run without hurting your feet on the stones.

Conclusion: - Summary or comment I think that our beach is a very important place for the grey district area because you can do many outdoor activities. I like to jump over the stream that leads from up at the start of Coulson Road and ends at the sea. It is important to our community because if we weren’t by the sea the town can't be called Greymouth because it is the mouth of the grey river.

Braindump

This week we worked on sportsmanship. This is my braindump for what I think makes a good sportsman\woman and what doesn't. I found this kinda easy because I know what can make a good sportsman\woman. I knew that a good sportsman has kind actions toward their teammates and the ref.

Novel study

This is how I would describe Trevor in the book I read for novel study Pay it forward. I found this part challenging because he was quite shy and didn't say much about himself at first.

Novel study

This is the plot of the story in the book Pay it forward. My favorite part of the story was Trevor thought of his idea for the project.

This is my work for the setting. I found this easier because it said where it was where the setting was. and was quite fun working on this because I liked this one
